The SCF & Hibernian Group’s representative in Cyprus, Andrew Dalziel MA, FCA, has managed to negotiate excellent term deposit rates for our corporate clients with a number of Greek Cypriot banks. In fact, clients can expect to earn up to 4% interest per annum on their longer-term deposits subject to applicable terms and conditions. In addition, unlike most British banks the Cypriot banks have very limited exposure to the sub-prime loan market, have an excellent reputation in maintaining client confidentiality and are considered to be a very safe place for € deposits by banking experts.
